My First Post-HMMT Edition
Hello, blog-I'm not quite sure how to begin this post, or even just blogging in general. Since this is my first post, I'll introduce myself. I am Oscar, currently a sophomore at the Illinois Math and Science Academy. This blog is dedicated to my enviormental science/engineering thoughts, and I hope that they will be somewhat interesting to read. At the time of writing, I am at the Harvard/MIT Math Competition in Boston. So, here are some thoughts relating to enviormental science that I had during my trip: 1.) These competitions require a loooooooot of paper. Like, it's an unfathomable amount. A lot of Math competitions recently like the AMC have transitioned to using online software. But to be honest, from purely a Math competitor standpoint, paper is just way more convenient, prevents cheating, and can even be better for solving certain problems.
